Summary
[edit]DescriptionWalthamstow Bus Station - geograph.org.uk - 2232642.jpg |
English: Walthamstow Bus Station. Two buses belonging to major operator First are parked up in front of Walthamstow Library in between duties on route 58 - the relatively old TNL33024 (LK51 UZB), behind which hides a nearly new hybrid, VN37841 (BV10 WVL). While hybrids still comprise a small portion of London's bus fleet, the body styles on both these buses are extremely common examples of the first and second generation of low floor double-deckers, bodied by Plaxton and Wright's respectively. Passing through is EO1 (PN08 SWJ) of CT Plus on a route 212 departure to Chingford Station. The CT Plus fleet consists of around 45 vehicles and the double decker in the photo is unique within the fleet, at the time of writing, being the only East Lanc's Olympus bodied Alexander Dennis Trident. |
