Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Walnut Hill Shopping Center was constructed in 1967. The old photograph was taken in 1972 by Ron Lichterman during the grand opening of his new store, Junior Miss, which replaced a sporting goods store at this location. Junior Miss sold clothing for young women and eventually closed in 1977. The Dairy Queen was another popular spot in this shopping center back then. When I was kid, in the 1980s, there was a wall paper store where Junior Miss was. Today, the MVA Express is a popular destination.
