Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Wallace Reid in Motion Picture Magazine, September 1921. Original caption: "'May the Lord forbid that anyone ever think me a matinée idol,' deplored Wally Reid. 'If I ever thought I'd have that label attached to me, I'd start to direct tomorrow. That's one reason why I like the race-track stuff—it gives me a chance to get mussed up and honest-to-goodness dirty—which can’t be said of a matinée idol'"
