| Description |
English: Wall-mounted post box in Bridgegate, Chester. This letterbox is set into the north-east face of the Bridgegate, below the city walls. It bears no royal insignia. The Handyside company made some Victorian pillarboxes without the insignia, in error, but I have found no reference to a wall box like this. Any further information welcome. Post Office reference: CH1 30
