Description
English: A row of fishermen walk with polo and nets to participate in the centuries-old Polo Bawa fishing festival in Pabna, Bangladesh, on November 30, 2024. Polo Bawa, a century-old fishing festival in Bangladesh, brings villagers together in late winter. Using bamboo traps, boats, and colorful nets, participants fish in knee-deep water, celebrating community and tradition. This lively event unites people of all ages in a joyful, culturally rich gathering.
