Summary
[edit]DescriptionWalking back from Upper Long Churn - geograph.org.uk - 1193111.jpg |
English: Walking back from Upper Long Churn A through trip from Lower Long Churn to Upper Long Churn Cave involves a climb out of the upper entrance that is not easily reversed by small people, so a walk back over the limestone pavement in the sunshine is the way home. The southern slopes of Ingleborough provide a backdrop. (There are several possible trips into this system in my log - it's a popular trip with kids - the date quoted is for the one which seems most likely. Michael in the photo would be just turned five on that date and that looks about right). |
