Description The walking onions are getting ready to produce seed onions. The top of the greens get this spot that twist and spirals under the skin and then it will bust open and have about 10 to 12 little onions. They will grow in place and they in turn will produce seeds, this goes on until the plnat falls over and the onions take root - in this manner they "Walk".
