English: JR Wakkanai Station is the most northern train station of Japan. On the platform of the station, there is a post mentioning "The Most Northern Station of JR" and its latitude. And, the violet train in the far side of the photo is the limited express train "Super Soya" which runs between Asahikawa and Wakkanai.
中文:JR稚內車站是日本全國最北方的鐵路車站,在車站月台上有個「JR日本最北端的車站」立碑,其上還刻有車站所在緯度資訊,是到此來遊歷的旅客最喜歡的合影景點之一。在照片中遠方藍紫色的列車是連結北海道中部交通城市旭川與稚內的特急列車「超級宗谷號」,也是全日本諸多特急列車之中,服務區間最北的一列。
