Early Nineteenth Century Silk, linen, metal NHHC 1967-332-A Headquarters Artifact Collection, Naval History and Heritage Command The undersides of the lapels have preserved the bright colors of this luxurious silk brocade. Metallic silver threads were used to create the body of the fabric while pink silk wefts create the overall floral ornamentation. |
