Description
English: Gentleman's waistcoat with straight hem and standing collar. Cream silk embroidered foundation showing pattern of small scattered flowers and sequins. Embroidered around the collar and straight pockets with flowers carried out in satin stitch, and sequins. Appliquéd with sequins and printed satin weave silk medallions. The medallion below the left pocket is of Diana disarming Cupid, the one below the right pocket is of Venus playing with Cupid. Silk-covered buttons embroidered with flowers.
