Description
Deutsch: Schönheide im Erzgebirge: Früherer Bahnhof in Schönheiderhammer. Sein Name wurde mehrmals geändert: Zur Eröffnung der Bahnstrecke Chemnitz–Adorf im Jahr 1875 trug die Station die Bezeichnung Schönheiderhammer, nach der Eingemeindung Schönheiderhammers nach Schönheide ordnete die Deutsch Reichsbahn die Bezeichnung der fünf Bahnhöfe und Haltepunkte in Schönheide neu: Von 1950 an bekam der Bahnhof den Namen Schönheide Ost.
Der Förderverein Historische Westsächsische Eisenbahnen stellte im Jahr 2016 zwei alte Waggons auf den Gleisen der Bahnhofs auf, die zum Restaurieren bestimmt sind.
