Description
Nederlands: Nederland is enorm aan het investeren in windenergie. Daarmee kunnen we zoveel stroom opwekken, dat we straks misschien wel helemaal zonder fossiele energie kunnen. Op land is er soms (hevige) weerstand tegen de bouw van windturbines, maar er zijn nauwelijks mensen die protesteren tegen windmolenparken op zee. Toch zijn windparken op zee niet alleen maar goed nieuws. Zeebioloog Fien Demuynck (Universiteit Leiden) legt uit hoe vooral de bouw van die molens bij vissen en andere zeedieren voor veel overlast zorgt. Wat kunnen we daar tegen doen? En waarom moeten we tóch doorgaan met windenergie op zee?
