Description
English: Russian item from World War II displayed at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum:
  • "Excellent Locomotive Operator" (Russian: Отличный паровозник), an award for outstanding workers in the railway transportation sector in the Soviet Union. This breast badge was established by a decree from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on September 22, 1943, along with seven other departmental badges, and was awarded until 1957.
The War Memorial Museum (Norwegian: Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway presents the country's largest exhibition of military uniforms and small items from the German occupation of Norway 1940–1945, as well as from other events before and during the war.


Norsk bokmål: Russisk gjenstand fra østfronten under andre verdenskrig utstilt i Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum:
  • «Utmerket lokomotivfører» (russisk: Отличный паровозник), utmerkelse for fremragende arbeidere innenfor jernbanetransportsektoren i Sovjetunionen. Brystmerket ble etablert ved dekret fra Presidiet for Sovjetunionens Høyeste Sovjet 22. september 1943, sammen med sju andre avdelingsmerker, og delt ut fram til 1957.
