English: Photo taken at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Norwegian: Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway's largest exhibition of uniforms and smaller items related to the Second World War and the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945:
  • Norwegian general's uniform 1940: Norwegian Army (Norwegian: Hæren) officer's 'mountain-grey' service uniform M1934 used in 1940 during the German invasion of Norway in World War II:
    • Kepi with rank insignia and a tricolour national cockade and gold Norwegian lion-and-axe motif (Coat of arms of Norway).
    • Tunic with closed collar, 6-button front, external pleated breast and waist pockets with scalloped flaps, General officer rank insignia (large matt silver wire stars on wide oakleaf-patterned gold braid), green piping at the collars and cuffs, and a Norwegian national flag on upper right sleeve.
