Description
English: Norwegian Army NCO officer's cap of kepi type from the 1930s. National cockade, insignia stripe (galloon) indicating the rank of Fenrik. A button with the Norwegian coat of arms is missing. See Norwegian uniforms & equipment 1940 by Bjorn Jervaas and the uniform plates by Anton Sassmann from Den norske hær/Das norwegische Heer (1932).
Photo taken at the Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a local World War II museum in Rakkestad, Norway, exhibiting 4000 items related to the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945, Norwegian, German, and Allied military forces, the Norwegian resistance movement and everyday life during the war, etc.
Norsk bokmål: Grågrønn lue (kaskett, militærlue, uniformslue) for underoffiser i den norske hæren, trolig fra 1930-tallet: Kepi (sylinderformet skyggelue) med kokarde (rosett) i norske farger og enkel galon (bånd, tresse, stripe) som gradtegn (rangdistiksjon, gradmerke, rangmerke) for fenrik.
