Salonika Army Christmas Card 1918

Summary

[edit]
Description

My Grandfather was a medic in World War One and served in Northern Greece, near Salonica.

After the war it took quite a long time to get all the troops, etc home and on 6 December 1918 he sent this card/Christmas Card back to his daughter in Scotland. She was my Mother.

It's perhaps not "Politically correct" today, but a curious momento of "The War to end all wars"
