Description
English: Cast copper-alloy annular buckle or brooch. Medieval. Mass: 5.0g; external diameter of frame: 37.0mm; thickness of frame: 3.6mm. The frame is circular in plan with a variable but broadly sub-oval section. The front of the frame is decorated with three sets of grooves. The reverse is plain, but with finishing marks evident. There is an incomplete loop at one end of the incomplete pin, which secures the pin to the frame. There is no constriction on the frame for the pin.
