[edit]DescriptionWLM Globular Cluster.png |
There's an impressive globular cluster on the western side of the that Hubble took a look at with the old WFPC2 camera back in 1998. Many individual stars are revealed despite the lower resolution. Still a beautiful image. Some cosmic rays were removed during processing. Data from the following proposal was used: The Oldest Star Clusters of Local Group Irregular Galaxies Red: WFPC2 F814W (hst_06813_01_wfpc2_f814w_pc_sci) Green: Pseudo Blue: WFPC2 F555W (hst_06813_01_wfpc2_f555w_pc_sci) North is 39.7° clockwise from up. |
