Description

Centraal op het terrein bevindt zich het hoofdgebouw van het BENEDICTIJNERKLOOSTER. Het klooster werd voornamelijk opgetrokken in een drietal bouwfasen, te weten 1906, 1908-1910 en 1919-1920.

Het bakstenen kloostergebouw, bestaande uit vier ongelijkvormige vleugels rondom een binnenhof met omlopende gangen, beslaat in de kern een carré-vormige plattegrond.

In 1985 is voor de westelijke vleugel een terras aangelegd. In de loop der jaren is het klooster slechts op enkele onderdelen gewijzigd of gemoderniseerd.
