Description

La fàbrica de Ciments Asland va funcionar des dels inicis del 1900 fins l'any 1975, en que fou tancada. Actualment en una de les dependencies hi ha instalat el Museu del Ciment, depenent del Museu de la Ciencia i de la Tecnica de Catalunya. L'edifici modernista es va construir amb utilització de la volta catalana i estructures de ferro forjat i de forma esglaonada per aprofitar la força de la gravetat en el procés de fabricació del ciment.
