Description

La Iglesia de San Juan constituye la muestra más destacable de la arquitectura románico-mudéjar, siglo XIII, (fusión del románico y la tradición islámica) que se conserva en la provincia, siendo una de las siete iglesias con que cuenta la villa en la actualidad y de las 18 que a lo largo de la historia llegó a tener, de las cuales, al menos 5 fueron construidas en el mismo estilo, aunque hoy sólo se conserva la de Santiago, probablemente la más antigua de todas.
