(28-mal 30 Minuten Bestrahlung mit wassergefiltertem Infrarot A (wIRA) und sichtbarem Licht (VIS) innerhalb von 52 Tagen = circa 7 Wochen) mit normaler Aufsicht, thermographischem Bild und Temperaturprofil durch das Ulkus – jeweils links vor wIRA-Therapie und rechts nach Abschluss der wIRA-Therapie. Der Pfeil zeigt im Abschlussthermographiebild auf die Stelle, an der die Wunde war. Durchmesser der roten Kreise: 16 mm. (Studie der Universität Tromsø/Norwegen und des Krankenhauses Hillerød/Dänemark) English: Example of the healing process of a chronic venous stasis ulcer of the lower leg under therapy with wIRA (Study Tromsø/Hillerød). (28 times 30 minutes irradiation with water-filtered infrared-A (wIRA) and visible light (VIS) within 52 days = approximately 7 weeks) with normal view, thermographic image, and temperature profile across the ulcer, in each case on the left before therapy and on the right after completion of the course of therapy.
