Deutsch: Denkmalsbezeichnung:
Bei dem Denkmal handelt es sich um das Otto-Lilienthal-Denkmal von Peter Breuer (1914), Bäkestraße 14a in Berlin (Steglitz). Aufnahmeabsicht und Bedeutung des Wettbewerbsfotos: Das Foto (WIKI FW2015 07092010 1) zeigt in Vollaufnahme einen Ausschnitt der "Vogelmensch"-Statue auf seinem Sockel. Beabsichtigt wurde mit dieser Aufnahmeperspektive, dass der "Vogelmensch" als das Symbol eines wahrgewordenen Menschheitstraum im Focus der Aufnahme steht: Dem freien ungebundenen Flug des Menschen, welchem nun Flügel erwachsen sind. Die Flügel berühren dabei den Himmel und die Wolken, wohin auch der Blick des damit verbundenen Menschen gerichtet ist. Es war Otto Lilienthal -und nur er- welcher in beharrlicher Ausdauer und Aufopferung diesen Traum in die Realität umsetzte -für alle die da kamen, um es ihm nachzutun und damit für die gesamte Menschheit. Eine Texttafel am Fuße des Denkmals vereint all dies auf das Vollkommenste: ER WIRD SEINEN ERSTEN FLUG NEHMEN DER GROSSE VOGEL VOM RUECKEN DES HUEGELS AUS DAS UNIVERSUM MIT VERBLUEFFUNG ALLE SCHRIFTEN MIT SEINEM RUHME FUELLEND UND EWIG GLORIE DEM ORT WO ER GEBOREN WARD. <Leonardo Da Vinci 1452 - 1519> Entstehungsgeschichte: Das Foto entstand bei einer Berlin-Reise von mir und meiner Frau "Auf den Spuren Lilienthals" 2010. Es wurden mehrere Fotos von dem Denkmal gemacht. Die zwei weiteren veröffentlichten Fotos (WIKI FW2015 07092010 2 und WIKI FW2015 07092010 3) zeigen das Denkmal jeweils in der Totalen einmal von Vorne und einmal von der Seite. Interessanterweise waren die Lichtverhältnisse zunächst analog zum dem Foto aus dem Wikipedia Artikel "Otto Lilienthal" (bewölkt), aber für ca. 10 Minuten öffneten sich die Wolken für das Wettbewerbsfoto. Man kann dieses Situation auch als ein Wink, nein, als ein Flügelschlag des Schicksals begreifen. Das Wettbewerbsfoto hängt als Leinwandfoto bei mir Zuhause an der Wand, worüber ein Modell des Gleiters nebst Otto Lilienthal schwebt. |
