Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Westbound Virginia State Route 139 as it approaches a railroad crossing of the former Virginian Railway Main Line in Jarratt, Greensville County, Virginia. The main line of the Virginian Railway passed through Jarratt, until it was acquired by the Norfolk and Western Railway in 1959, and eventually abandoned. In more recent years, it was used as a freight spur from the CSX North End Subdivision serving a former Georgia-Pacific sheathing plant and a Rayonier Advanced Materials plant, both of which are now closed.
