Description
Deutsch: Richtung Nordosten zur Brücke über die Zeile, die beiden mit Stromschienen elektrifizierten Gleise, die in Bildmitte in den Tunnel führen, gehören zur Wientallinie Richtung Hütteldorf, die von der U-Bahn-Linie U4 bedient wird.
Die steile Rampe zur Brücke über die Zeile wurde mit dem Bahnhof Längenfeldgasse in der bestehenden Form erst 1989 für die Weiterführung der Linie U6 zum Bahnhof Meidling gebaut, vorher lag die Trennung von Wiental- und Gürtellinie weiter westlich am Bahnhof Meidling Hauptstraße und die Rampe war passend zum Dampflokomotiv- und Fernbahnbetrieb zu Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts deutlich flacher. Die Streckengleise der Wientallinie lagen an dieser Stelle links unmittelbar neben der Ufermauer zum Wienkanal.
