Original description: Black crust of wustite on surface of meteorite particle, formed during its moving through atmosphere. Metallic-white kamacite is matrix. Brown secondary goethite is visible. It formed during contact of the meteorite with a wet ground. FOV is ~8x5 mm. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.

Beschreibung: Schwarze Wüstit-Kruste auf der Oberfläche eines Meteoritenpartikels, gebildet während dessen Bewegung durch Atmosphäre. Die metallisch-weiße Matrix besteht aus Kamacit. Das braune, sekundäre Goethit wurde durch den Kontakt des Meteoriten mit einem nassen Untergrund gebildet.

Description initiale : croute noire de wustite sur la surface d'un fragment de météorite, formée durant sa traversée de l'atmosphère. La matrice métallique blanche est de la kemacite.
