The use of Očenášek's invention of winged mine throwers (aerial torpedoes) on the Western Front of the First World War.

Summary

[edit]
Description
Čeština: V Očenáškově laboratoři vznikl (1915) vynález (a model) tzv. vzdušného (raketového) torpéda.
English: The invention (and model) of the so-called air (rocket) torpedo was created in Očenášek's laboratory (1915). This "winged mine" of relatively cheap and simple design was intended to support the firepower of artillery and was intended for combat deployment on the French, Italian and Russian fronts. The documentation of this new type of weapon (sometimes referred to as a rocket-propelled grenade launcher) was smuggled (thanks to French military intelligence) to France, where the design drawings were presented as a gift to the French government by T. G. Masaryk. In 1915, Očenášek's winged mines found their first use on the Western Front.
