Description

'Lange Nelle'. De statige vuurtoren, gebouwd in 1949, torent met haar 65 meter hoog boven de andere bebouwing en de duinen uit. Sinds 1948 loodst ze schepen veilig doorheen de Noordzee, tot 27 zeemijl (ruim 48 km) ver reikt haar signaal. In 1994 is de toren gerestaureerd en beschilderd naar ontwerp van I. van Isacker.
