Description iconographique:

Vue animée de la Cour carrée du Louvre prise depuis l'aile Est, avec les structures provisoires construites pour abriter les produits exposés, près desquelles se presse une foule nombreuse. Le pavillon de l'Horloge, fermant la perspective, arbore sur son toit un télégraphe Chappe.
