| Description |
Nederlands: Houten bijlsteel.Bijlen werden gebruikt voor de ontginning van bos en het bewerken van hout. De stenen bijl paste precies in de holte van de steel. Door het hakken kwam de bijl steeds vaster te zitten. Met pek of hars kon de kling van de bijl nog vaster worden gezet.
