Im Jahr 1863 hat Eduard Heinrich von Schönfels für seine Familienmitglieder auf dem Ruppertsgrüner Friedhof ein Familiengrab errichtet. Die im Jahr 17. Jahrhundert in Marmor gefertigten Leichensteine von Hans v. Schönfels und Brigitte v. Schönfels geb. v. Rechenbergk sind in Lebensgröße dargestellt und wurden gegenüber der Eingangstür eingemauert. Die Steine sind mit Wappen und Inschriften ihrer Vorfahren versehen und befanden sich bis zu ihrem endgültigen Einbau hinter einem Altar der Dorfkirche von Beiersdorf (Fraureuth).
