I spotted this brand new C70 in Kingston, jamaica. It was a pretty lucky thing that I had a friend who worked at the company holding it for sale-this is the ONLY C70 on the island, and one of only about half a dozen in the entire Caribbean right now. There's not a huge market for these in Jamaica. The Jamaicans who can afford the payments for something like this usually prefer more practical vehicles like the Nissan X-Trail, Mitsubishi Pajero, the occasional BMW 3-Series or X5. They seem to most commonly prefer the Suzuki Grand Vitara, judging from its ridiculous level of popularity on the island. As a result, I don't expect to see another new C70 on the island for a very long time. |
