Size: 1.8 × 1.3 × 0.2 cm
Description: Polished preparation of a sample with this rare species, a Rb-analogue of lepidolite. Voloshinite was found in rare-element granitic pegmatites at Mt. Vasin-Myl’k, in Kola Peninsula. It is closely associated with pollucite and lepidolite, trilithiolite, also typically with muscovite, albite and quartz; in some cases, associated minerals are K,Rb-feldspar, rubicline, spodumene, montebrasite, elbaite, etc. From the Type Locality.
