Description
Français : Noeud ferroviaire incontournable de l'ancienne région Franche-Comté le complexe de Mouchard, Jura, a perdu beaucoup de son importance.

Elus et population de cette localité de 1 150 âmes se battent depuis quelques années à présent, afin de maintenir une desserte TGV pérenne. La gare est en effet traversée par certaines rames Lyria joignant la Suisse via Dijon.

En aval du site se débranche, côté Dole, la voie unique filant vers Bourg en Bresse via Arbois, Poligny, Lons le Saunier et Saint-Amour. Ce barreau mis sous tension en 1995, long d'un peu plus de 80 km, est emprunté par des trains de la transversale Lyon-Strasbourg.
