Summary

[edit]
Description

The Leica IIIf (1950) rangefinder, equipped with Leica Visoflex II (1960) reflex housing in Leica Thread Mount (LTM), with 65mm f3.5 Elmar=V. The 65mm Elmar was the shortest focal length lens usable on the Visoflex system with focus at infinity. Other lenses designed for the Visoflex have focal lengths of 180mm (rare), 200mm, 280mm, 400mm, 560mm and 800mm. Also, certain 90mm and 135mm rangefinder lenses, given the correct adapter, could be used on the Visoflex as SLR lenses. Finally, every lens usable directly or via adapter could also be used on a Leicaflex or R-series SLR camera via adapter.
