English: This contemporary Filipino sword came from Antique province in the western Visayas.
The full picture of the bolo can be seen here. In the local (Panay) dialect, the bolo is called a binangon. It is a multi-purpose bolo used for work as well as for personal defense. The hilt is made of wood. The ferrule is made of metal.
