Description
English: The Virtual Fixtures platform developed at U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) was the first functional Augmented Reality system to be built and tested. The original concept was proposed for many applications from augmented control of remote robots to Augmented Reality to support doctors during surgical procedures. The above image shows the original surgical concept.
