Description
Español: Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla. Pintura destinada al retablo mayor de la iglesia del Convento de Capuchinos (Sevilla). La Virgen María muestra al Niño tras una ventana, óleo sobre lienzo (1668-1669). Una leyenda del siglo XIX, referente a esta pintura, comentaba la entrega a los monjes capuchinos, de un boceto en una servilleta entregado por Bartolomé Esteban Murillo después de una cena. Los monjes capuchinos llevaron todos los lienzos a depositar en Gibraltar, previniendo la llegada del expoliador mariscal Soult.
