Description

A WIPO delegation headed by WIPO Director General Daren Tang met on March 22, 2022, with Minister of Industry, Trade and MSMEs Victor Bisonó Haza of the <a href="https://www.wipo.int/members/en/details.jsp?country_id=49" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Dominican Republic</a> while on an official visit to the country.

Mr. Tang and Mr. Bisonó Haza agreed that intellectual property (IP) is not just a legal right but a powerful tool for business growth, promoting trade and investments.

They agreed on the importance of integrating IP into national IP strategies.
