Summary

[edit]
Description

The tabernacle itself forms a small altar: the Eucharistic cupboard is engraved with a simple cross above which God the Father blesses the multitude. On either side, the two apostles Peter and Paul support a tray, which can be used as a tabor for the festivals of adoration that were once very popular in the Basque Country. At the top, two angels wearing a trumpet support a crown forming a canopy above Christ.
