The French text reads: "Frescati [sic]. Ville de l'Etat de l'Eglise. Elle est dans la Campagne de Rome, et Considerable par le grand Nombre de Beaux Palais, &c. A Amsterdam Chez Pierre Mortier. Avec Privilege", which translates to: "Frascati. Town of the Papal States. She is within the Roman Countryside, and considerable for her great fame of beautiful palaces, etc. (Printed) in Amsterdam At Pierre Mortier's. With (printing) privilege".
The Latin text reads: "Amstelaedami IOANNES BLAEU EXCUDEBAT", which translates to: "Joan Blaeu printed (this) in Amsterdam".
