Deutsch: Die Villa Maund wurde 1895 als Jagdvilla im englischen Landhausstil vom Bankier Sir John Oakley Maund, auf dem Ausläufer der Ünschenberg Alp bei Hinterhopfreben erbaut. Im Bild die Westansicht mit Heiterberg.
Architekt:William Morris, der Vater der Arts-and-Crafts-Bewegung und Gestalter der Morris Rooms im Victoria and Albert Museum in London; Zimmermannsarbeiten: Johann Anton Strolz aus Schröcken; Innenausbau:Kunsttischler Kaspar Felder.
