Description
Deutsch: Gedenktafel an der Villa Fliederhof
Villa Fliederhof. Erbaut vom Architekturbüro Schilling & Graebner 1893. Hier stand ein großbürgerliches Wohnhaus, die Villa Fliederhof, die seit Ende des 1. Weltkrieges Wilhelm und Wilhelmine Schuncke aus der europäischen Musikerfamilie Schuncke gehörte. Die Villa wurde schnell zum Zentrum der Musikkultur in Dresden. Der russische Komponist Sergej Rachmaninoff (1873 - 1943) hielt sich hier seit 1924 mehrfach mit seiner Familie auf. 1975 wurde die Villa Fliederhof zwangsverkauft und 1979 durch einen Brand zerstört.
