Description
The experts at Sotheby's described this painting as Shipping off the Danish Coast. The description seems somewhat rudimentary. The coast might be in the Sound, but by the looks of it, the uploader is inclined to describe it as the Swedish coast. The vessel in the foreground is flying the Swedish Naval Flag. By 1929, Sweden had three fully rigged training ships, and the composition of sails would hint towards the Najaden, but that is just an informed guess.
