Title
English: A topsail schooner at Kronborg Castle.
Dansk: En bramsejlskonnert ved Kronborg.
Object type painting
object_type QS:P31,Q3305213
Description
This appears to have been a trip down memory lane for Arnesen. The experts at Bruun Rasmussen saw it as a schooner-brig, but the rigging on the foremast gives it as a topsail schooner. They did not mention the signal flags (NGBT). From 1933, Danish ships had signal codes beginning with "O", and the letters match the topsail schooner Johanne of Marstal, built in 1893 and sold to French owners in 1911.
