English: Viking boat, Irish National Heritage Park. This is a copy of the Gokstad Faering, a small rowing boat. They were building another in the boatshed using original methods, adze rather than saw. The boats are about 6.5 metres long and 1.4 metres wide, with two pairs of oars.
