DescriptionViking Lander 1 Phobos Shadow p131b.jpg	The Viking 1 Lander detected a dip in the light level due to the penumbral shadow of Phobos passing across the lander during a transit of Phobos from Mars. The slightly darkened vertical lines near the center represent the event. Colors are distorted to enhance detail.
