Summary
English: These are believed to be oberlin noir grapes and vine. These are grown on a private smallholding near Le Bignon in Loire-Atlantique, solely for domestic and family consumption.
The bunches are very fragile and the grapes soft and fruity. The resulting wine is dark, syrupy, rich, sweet and usually 16-18 degrees. It is typically drunk as an aperitif or dessert wine or even with cheese. The vines in this location were harvested in early September 2020, late August 2021 and are expected to be harvested the third week of August 2022. During the hot, dry summer of 2022, these vines needed no fungicide or pesticide treatment. |
