Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View west along the top of Gad Cliff The northwards dip of the underlying rock strata is obvious here, where the Portland Stone slopes down from the top of the vertical precipice into Tyneham Gwyle. Beyond is Worbarrow Bay and Mupe Bay, where the sea has broken through the softer rock and is now nibbling into the hard chalk of the Purbeck Hills ridge.
