Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View towards St Martin's church Cottages and the tower of St Martin's church, illuminated by low December sunlight. This view was taken from High Street (A1122), the main thoroughfare through the village of Fincham. The West Norfolk village of Fincham is traversed by the A1122 (High Street). It is located roughly halfway between the market towns of Downham Market and Swaffham, with King's Lynn about 10 miles to the north. Near the village are the remains of the motte and bailey Wormegay Castle, and south east from there a reconstructed Iceni Village can be seen in Cockley Cley. The parish church of St Martin (a second church - St Michael's - was demolished in the 18th century) is situated on a slight elevation > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1635293 north of High Street, in the heart of the village.
